Raj Rewal Associates is based in Delhi and has been in practice for the last 35 years. The architectural firm has been acclaimed for its housing projects and urban design and public buildings.
The organization has normally fourteen to eighteen architects and the general strength of the office varies from twenty two to twenty six persons, which includes engineers, technicians, model makers and administrators.
Author of several prestigious assignments, the firm has worked on projects in India, Iran, China, France and Portugal. Raj Rewal and his firm are the winner of prestigious national and international competitions. Raj Rewal is a recipient of several prestigious awards including the gold medal from the Commonwealth Associations of Architects, Indian Institute of Architects and most recently the "Chevalier des Art des Lettres" award by the French Government.
The diverse design portfolio of the firm includes the Pragati Maidan Exhibition Complex, New Delhi, The French Embassy Staff Quarters, New Delhi, The Shiekh Sarai Housing for the Delhi Development Authority, New Delhi, the Asian Games Village, New Delhi, The National Institute of Immunology, New Delhi, The British High Commission Housing, New Delhi, the Scope office Complex, New Delhi, The World Bank Regional Mission, New Delhi, Central Institute of Technology, New Delhi, The International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biology, New Delhi, The National Centre for Biological Sciences, Bangalore, the Parliament Library Complex New Delhi, The Grapecity - A Japanese Software Centre, Noida and the Ismaili Centre, Lisbon, Portugal.
